Account Summary lists out all below types of accounts mapped to your NetBanking ID.
- Savings Accounts
- Current Accounts
- Term Deposits
- Loan Accounts
f you are not in a position to view all your existing accounts through NetBanking, you may approach your HOME branch to link all such missing accounts. This will facilitate hassle free operations of all accounts through NetBanking.
To view account details, you may click on the Account Number.
Note: Dormant and Inoperative Accounts details are unavailable over the internet.
- Customer can issue Stop Cheque Payment instructions through Stop Cheque request option.
- To stop a single cheque, in start cheque number option enter the cheque number to be stopped. For a series of cheques give the starting cheque number and ending cheque number and click on request. The cheque(s) have been stepped immediately.
- After the Stop request is processed, check the status of instrument/s in cheque status enquiry option.
- Bank will be able to carryout “Stop Cheque Payment” instruction, only if the cheque has not been presented for payment at the time of acceptance of this instruction.
Note: If your account status is 'Blocked' or 'Debit Override' then you will not be able to stop cheque.
Fund Transfer :
- Own Account Fund Transfer
- Third Party Fund Transfer within Bank
- Third Party Fund Transfer to another Bank (NEFT)
Payee addition is required for Third Party Fund Transfer within Bank and to another Bank (NEFT). You do not need to add a payee for Own Account Fund Transfer.
Under Payee Maintenance, the following functionalities are available:
Add Payee
Payee can be added by providing required details like Nickname, Full Name, Payee Account Number etc. Transaction Password is required to add a payee.
Payee Search
You can view all your added payee.
Modify Payee
You can modify a Payee by clicking on Payee Nickname in the Payee list. Transaction Password will be required to modify a payee.
Delete a Payee
You can delete a Payee by clicking on Payee Nickname in the Payee list. Transaction Password will be required to delete a payee.
Own Account Transfer
- For fund transfer among own accounts, the customer can freely transfer funds among all his/her own accounts mapped under NetBanking ID. The transaction limit is applicable to Own Account Fund Transfer.
- The Daily Limit for the Own account fund transfer is INR 5,00,000.
Steps to do Own Account Fund Transfer
- You need to click on “Own Account Fund Transfer” in left menu of Fund Transfer
- You need to select Source Account and Destination Account. Then you need to enter amount. Click on Submit.
- Verification Page will be shown. You need to verify the details and click on “Confirm”.
- Transaction Password Page will be shown. Enter the transaction passwords and click on the “Submit” button.
- Confirmation Page will be shown to the customer. You can take print also on click of “Print” Button. If you want to do another transaction, you can click on “Another Transfer’.
Third party fund transfer with in bank
- Own Account Transfer
- Within Dhanlaxmi bank
- External transfer
Within Dhanlaxmi bank
- For Third Party Transfer within bank, you need to add those accounts as a payee.
- In this case, Payee Nick is the alias name of the beneficiary which you like, Payee Name is the full name of the beneficiary, and Account Number is the 16 digit bank account number.
- Successfully registered accounts with proper payee details will be available for funds transfer.
- The Daily Limit for the Third Party fund transfer within bank is INR 1,00,000.
Note: If your account status is 'Blocked' or 'Debit Override' then you will not be able to do Fund Transfer.
Steps to do Third Party Account Fund Transfer within the Bank
- You need to click on “Third Party Fund Transfer within Bank” in left menu of Fund Transfer
- You need to select Source Account and Destination Payee. Then you need to enter amount and transfer description. Click on Submit.
- Verification Page will be shown. You need to verify the details and click on “Confirm”.
- Transaction Password Page will be shown. Enter the transaction passwords and click on the “Submit” button.
- Confirmation Page will be shown to the customer. You can take print also on click of “Print” Button. If you want to do another transaction, you can click on “Another Transfer’.
Credit Card Payment
For credit card payment, you need to add credit card as a payee:
- Payee Nickname is the alias name of the credit card holder.
- Payee Name is the full name of the credit card holder.
- Credit Card Number is the 16 digit credit card number
- Successfully registered credit card number with proper details will be available for payment.
- Note: If your account status is “Blocked” or “Debit Override” then you will not be able to do credit card payment.
Steps to do Credit Card payment:
- You need to click on “Credit Card Payment” in left menu of Fund Transfer
- You need to select Source Account and Credit Card Payee. Then you need to enter amount and transfer description. Click on Transfer.
- Verification Page will be shown. You need to verify the details and click on “Confirm”.
- Transaction Password Page will be shown. Enter the transaction passwords and click on the “Submit” button.
- Confirmation Page will be shown. You can take print by clicking “Print” button. If you want to do another transaction, you can click on “Another Credit Card Payment”.

FAQ : Third Party Fund Transfer to another Bank via NEFT
1. What is Inter Bank Fund Transfer?
Inter Bank Transfer is a special service that allows you to transfer funds electronically to accounts in other banks in India via NEFT or RTGS
2. What is NEFT and RTGS?
NEFT : National Electronic Funds Transfer
Funds are transferred to the credit account with the other participating Bank using RBI's NEFT service. RBI acts as the service provider and transfers the credit to the other bank's account.
RTGS: Real Time Gross Settlement
The RTGS system facilitates transfer of funds from accounts in one bank to another on a “real time” and on “gross settlement” basis. The RTGS system is the fastest possible inter bank money transfer facility available through secure banking channels in India.
3. Whether RTGS is available with Dhanalakshmi Bank Net Banking?
No. Only NEFT is available with Dhanalakshmi Bank Net Banking.
4. What is the minimum/maximum amount for NEFT transactions under Dhanalakshmi Bank Net Banking?

5. When will the amount be credited to beneficiary account?
Your remittance instructions before cut off time will be processed by the Bank on the same working day and after cuff off time on the next working day.
Please note that the actual time taken to credit the account depends on the time taken by the Payee's bank to process the payment. The money will reach Payee's bank within the time stipulated by Reserve Bank Of India.
6. What is Cut Off time?
NEFT transactions will be sent to RBI based on the following schedule. Here END Time is cut off time for the day.

NEFT transactions are settled in batches :
- 11hourly settlements from 09:00hrs to 19:00 hrs on weekdays.
- 5 hourly settlements from 09:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs on Saturdays.
Please note that all the above timings are based on Indian Standard Time (IST) only.
7. What is the mandatory information required while giving a request for Third Party Fund Transfer to another bank via NEFT.
The Remitter has to provide the following details:
- Source Account Number
- Beneficiary Name
- The IFSC code of the beneficiary branch.
- Name of the beneficiary bank.
- Beneficiary Brach Name
- Amount to be remitted.
- Account number of the beneficiary.
- Remarks or description, if any.
8. How to find the IFSC code of the beneficiary branch?
You can search based on simple search option like IFSC Cide, Bank Name, Branch and City. The IFSC code will automatically be updated in input page. If you know the IFSC code of the beneficiary bank, you can provide it in search directly.
9. Do all bank branches in India provide NEFT?
NEFT is enabled only in specific bank branches across India. You can view a list of these branches in the RBI website: http://www.rbi.org.in/scripts/neft.aspx.
10. What are the service charges applicable for NEFT transactions via Dhanalakshmi Bank Net Banking?
Currently, this facility is free of charge.
11. What are the steps to execute NEFT transfer via Net Banking?
Steps: Third Party Fund Transfer to another Bank
- You should be an active Internet Banking user with transaction rights.
- Log on to www.dhanbank.com by using your Net Banking ID and Password.
- You need to first Add Payee before doing fund transfer.
- Click on Payee Maintenance option available Under Fund Transfer.
- Select 'Another Bank Account/Credit card' as Payee Type.
- Click Add Payee.
- Enter the beneficiary details.
- Click on Submit.
- Pre-confirmation page will be shown will all details. Then click on “Confirm” after verifying the details entered.
- Enter Transaction Password and then click on Submit.
- Add Payee confirmation Page will be shown to you.
- Click on Third Party Fund Transfer to Another Bank.
- Input page will be shown. The following details to be entered:
- Select the source account.
- Enter sender email id.
- Select beneficiary payee name from the dropdown.
- Enter Amount.
- Enter some message in “Sender to Beneficiary Info” field.
- Read the Terms and Conditions and select the checkbox.
- Then click on “Submit”.
- Pre-confirmation page will be shown with all details. Then click on “Confirm” after verifying the details entered.
- Enter Transaction Password and then click on Submit.
- Confirmation Page will be shown to you..
Look Up Search
You can search based on IFSC Code, Bank Name, Branch Name and City. Once you submit the search criteria, search results will be populated in the Look Up screen.
There is a “Select” hyperlink is available in last column of the search result. On click of “Select” hyperlink, required IFSC Code, Bank Name and Branch Name will be populated in the main screen (input screen) of Fund Transfer.
12. How can I make payment to other bank’s credit card bill from Dhanalakshmi Bank via Internet banking facility?
- Log on to www.dhanbank.com by using your Net Banking ID and Password and click on Fund Transfer option available from top menu.
- You need to first Add Payee before doing Cerdit Card payment through NEFT.
- Click on Payee Maintenance option available Under Fund Transfer.
- Select 'Another Bank Account/Credit card' as Payee Type.
- Click Add Payee.
- Enter the beneficiary details and Credit card number.
- Click on “Look up” and provide IFSC code of Credit Card issuing Bank in the search option of look up window. The IFSC code for the credit card payment though NEFT has to be obtained from the credit card issuing bank. Click on search button. Search result will show record of Credit Card issuing Bank. Click on “Select” in search result.
- IFSC Code, Beneficiary Bank name and Branch Name will be populated.
- Select “Card Payment” as Beneficiary Account Type and then click 'Submit'.
- Pre-confirmation page will be shown will all details. Then click on “Confirm” after verifying the details entered.
- Enter Transaction Password and then click on Submit.
- Add Payee confirmation Page will be shown to you.
- Click on Third Party Fund Transfer to Another Bank.
- Input page will be shown. The following details to be entered.
- Select the source account.
- Enter sender email id.
- Select beneficiary payee name from the dropdown.
- Enter Amount.
- Enter some message in “Sender to Beneficiary Info” field.
- Read the Terms and Conditions and select the checkbox.
- Pre-confirmation page will be shown with all details. Then click on “Confirm” after verifying the details entered.
- Enter Transaction Password and then click on Submit.
- Confirmation Page will be shown to you.
Please remember below points:
- NetBanking facility needs to be enabled for your retail banking account.
- In case you are not registered for the same, please fill the Internet Banking Registration form and submit the duly filled form at your nearest Dhanalakshmi Bank Branch. Please click here to download the form.
- Please ensure the credit card issuing bank is enabled to receive the payments via NEFT prior to effecting the payment at our end.
- The IFSC code for the credit card payment though NEFT has to be obtained from the credit card issuing bank.
- Please ensure that the IFSC code of the credit card is correctly mentioned. If IFSC code is invalid, the transaction may get rejected.
- The NEFT facility is subject to the rules and guidelines of Reserve Bank of India, as applicable from time to time.
- Dhanalakshmi Bank reserves the right not to accept a request for NEFT, without assigning any reason.
- NEFT is RBI Initiative where all the participating Banks have the responsibility of crediting the Beneficiary’s Accounts in various Banks in India.
Open Term Deposit
- There are two options are available to open a Term Deposit.
- Open new Term Deposit
- Add to an existing Term Deposit
- If you already have Term Deposit, you can add more amount under same Term Deposit Account Number but Deposit Number will be different for each amount.
- In order to open a Term Deposit, select the Deposit product from list. There are three categories of deposit products, viz., Resident - meant for Public, Staff - Staff members and Senior Citizen - Senior citizens other than staff.
- Once you select your source account, you need put amount and then you need to select the Period by months and days.
- Interest Payout Plan for Dhanam Cumulative Deposit Certificate (DCDC) deposit is 'At Maturity' only.
- Interest Payout Instruction and Principal Payout Instruction are having only one option for crediting amounts. The customer has to select Account Number where the amounts to be credited.
- While adding to an existing Term Deposit account, the customer needs to select existing Term Deposit from the dropdown. Rest process is the same as above.
Note: If your account status is 'Blocked' or 'Debit Override' then you will not be able to open Term Deposit.
Steps to Open Term Deposit:
- You need to click on the 'New Term Deposit Open'. Input page will be opened. Radio Button of 'New Account' will be selected by default.
- You need to enter all required details for your Term Deposit in Input Page. Then you need to click on 'Open Deposit' Button.
- Then Verification Page will be displayed. You can verify and click on 'Confirm Deposit'.
- Then Transaction Password page will be displayed. You need to enter correct Transaction Password and Click on the 'Submit' Button.
- Confirmation Page will be displayed. You can take print out and sign on it. The signed receipt to be submitted at Branch. You will get 'Term Deposit Certificate' from the Branch.
Note: In Verification page, if you want to modify, you can click on 'Modify Details'. Again, you need to click on 'Open Deposit' to go to Verification page. Then rest process will be same.
Steps to add to an existing Open Term Deposit:
- You need to click on the 'New Term Deposit Open'. Input page will be opened. Radio button of 'New Account' will be selected by default. You need to click on Radio button of 'Add to Existing Account'.
- You need to enter all required details for your Term Deposit in Input Page. Then you need to click on 'Open Deposit' Button.
- Then Verification Page will be displayed. You can verify and click on 'Confirm Deposit'.
- Then Transaction Password page will be displayed. You need to enter correct Transaction Password and Click on the 'Submit' Button.
- Confirmation Page will be displayed. You can take print out and sign on it. The signed receipt to be submitted at Branch. You will get 'Term Deposit Certificate' from the Branch.
Note: In Verification page, if you want to modify, you can click on 'Modify Details'. Again, you need to click on 'Open Deposit' to go to Verification page. Then rest process will be same.
Note: When you open a Term Deposit under existing Term Deposit, 'Deposit Number' will be given to the certificate under same Term Deposit Account. The same can be viewed in 'Term Deposit Details’ section.
