Security Tips
While the bank has best-of-the-breed solutions, processes and people deployed to extend secure banking to its customers, it is important for our customers to know that security is incomplete without you. Please follow secure computing guidelines to avert any frauds or security breaches.
- Keep your NetBanking ID and Passwords confidential and do not disclose it to anybody.
- Avoid accessing NetBanking from shared computer networks such as cyber cafes.
- Do not click on links in the emails or sites other than www.dhanbank.com to access your NetBanking webpage.
- If you receive any suspicious e-mail or website prompts which are asking for your private and confidential information in relation to your account with the Bank, please inform us immediately. You can forward the mail to us at netbanking@dhanbank.co.in
- Always visit the Dhanlaxmi Bank's NetBanking site through Dhanlaxmi Bank's home page by typing the bank's website address (www.dhanbank.com) on to the browser's address bar.
- Always verify the authenticity of the Bank's NetBanking webpage by checking its URL as 'https://www.dhanbank.in' and the PAD Lock symbol at the bottom corner of the browser before putting in your NetBanking ID and Password.
- Do cross check your last login information available in NetBanking upon every login to ascertain your last login and monitor any unauthorised logins.
- Monitor your transactions regularly.
- Always logout when you exit NetBanking. Do not directly close the browser.
- Consider installing security software such as those offered by anti-virus specialists that can help detect virus, filter SPAM and/or ensure secure Internet Usage (firewalls).
- Create and maintain different passwords for Login and for Transactions. This provides additional security for financial transactions through Internet Banking.
- Keep your PC updated with the latest anti-virus / anti-spyware software.
- Install a personal firewall on your PC to protect your account.
- Do not to make purchases on unknown sites or sites whose credentials are doubtful.
